Cui Jun, who was born in Dehui City of Jilin Province on June 13th 1963, is the visiting Professor of Jilin University Northeast Asia Research Institute with PhD in Economics and the adjunct Professor of Jilin University Research Center for Regional Cooperation between China and neighboring countries. His previous posts include the Deputy Director of the Office of the leading Group for the Construction of the Development Zone of the Jilin Provincial people's Government and the Office of the Tumen River Development leading Group of the Jilin Provincial people's Government, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Economic and technological Cooperation Bureau, Director of the leading Group Office of the Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone between China and North Korea, President of Jilin Provincial Institute of Economic Management cadres, and he is the currently director of the Office of the leading Group for the Strategic implementation of the Changjitu Development and Open Pioneer area of Jilin Province and the Office of the Tumen River Regional Cooperation and Development leading Group of the Jilin Provincial people's Government. He has been engaged in the construction and management of the development zone, the Tumen River region (Changji Tu), the Northeast Asian regional international cooperation and higher vocational education and teaching, and is a member of the expert Advisory Group on Regional Cooperation between China and the neighboring countries, a member of the expert Advisory Group on Regional Cooperative Development in Tumen River, and a member of the decision Advisory Committee of the Provincial CPC Committee. His works include Study on the Opening Economy of Jilin Province, Global Geo-economic Research, Research on Regional Cooperation between China and Neighboring Countries, International Economics, and so on.
