The practice base of professional master of International Business of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, was unveiled at Shanghai Electronic Commerce Promotion Center（Trade Point Shanghai）on September 12.

Li Yue,Director of Shanghai Electronic Commerce Promotion Center and Zhang Yongqing, Deputy Dean of School of Management also Associate Dean of Institute of E-Commerce Development in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology unveiled the plaque together. Subsequently, Mr. Zheng Ying, the deputy director of the center, and Professor Wei Jingfu, the head of the international business professional master's degree department, signed a cooperation agreement for the mutual construction of the practice base. The colleagues of Shanghai Electronic Commerce Promotion Center , Associate Professor Zhu Xiaodong of the School of Management in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Dr. Li Xueqian witnessed the unveiling and signing together.

Associate Professor Zhu Xiaodong introduced both sides and reviewed the history of cooperation in the ceremony detailedly. Since 2013, the first batch of international business majors have started internships at the Shanghai Electronic Commerce Promotion Center, 5 batches of 49 postgraduates have entered the center. In addition to following the tutoring teachers into the internship practice to understand the basic business and processes of international trade and e-commerce, they also actively participated in the internal publications such as “E-Commerce Dynamics”, “Economic Decision-making Reference” and “Shanghai E-Commerce Development Report”. Their writing work has been highly recognized by the center leaders. Professor Wei Jingfu, on behalf of the academic degree awarding units, thanked the center for providing rich practical opportunities for international business graduate students. At the same time, he hoped to expand the cooperation areas of the two parties to the academic draft of the "International Market" magazine. Professor Zhang Yongqing hopes that both sides will strengthen all-round information communication and exchanges, establish a more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation mechanism, boldly innovate on the basis of summing up the preliminary work, and work together with the Shanghai Electronic Commerce Promotion Center to develop and train talents for Shanghai's international business and make new contributions.

Director Li Yue delivered a speech on behalf of the Shanghai Electronic Commerce Promotion Center. He emphasized in his speech that the signing and unveiling ceremony today is a new starting point. He hoped that the two sides will optimize their cooperation mechanism to fully tap their respective advantages and share the e-commerce research institute and subject platform,create better conditions for graduate training and talent development in the center, and make more achievement.
