In the summer of 2019, under the leadership of teacher Qin Bingtao, we went to Japan for a three-week academic exchange and study as a member of the "Teacher-Student Academic Community" funded by the International Exchange Office. Our footprints ranged from Akita, Niigata, Tokyo to Hiroshima, and from Kanto to Kansai almost throughout Japan. Although this is not my first trip to Japan, the combination of visiting and touring has given me a whole new experience.

The most impressive part is the experience of communicating with teachers and students at Niigata University, Tokyo J.F.Oberlin University and Hiroshima University of Economics. The professors of each school and their master's or doctoral degree students exchanged academics with us in the form of a mixture of Chinese, Japanese and English, involving Japanese industrial transfer, industrial hollowing, official development assistance, green GDP, renewable energy, and  diversified human resources in the industry of Japanese logistics,Chinese and Japanese cosmetics e-commerce extreme and consumption, Sino-US trade war, Japan-South Korea trade war and many other related research topics. Throughout the process of communication, I found that the difference between Japanese graduate school and domestic postgraduate education is that Japan pays great attention to prior research. The basis of all research is to absorb the experience of predecessors and carry out more in-depth innovative development, while domestic research is more focused on the use of model tools. In addition, through the inspection of these three schools, I deeply felt the superiority of the learning environment and facilities provided by Japanese universities for teachers and students. Whether it is the relatively remote Niigata University, the J.F.Oberlin University in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and the Hiroshima University of Economics, which is located at the top of the mountain, regardless of the size of the campus,  just enter their teaching area or student activity area, you can feel the convenience of humanized facilities. The interchangeable corners are all equipped with comfortable sofas, printers that anyone can use at will, extensive library with a rich library of books, a women-only event room, a 360-degree transparent glass classroom, and a whole building of free-use computer room ... It is very valuable to have such a scientific research environment, and all teachers and students are civilized and consciously maintained. Starting from the details of the education, it's easy to feel the national quality of the entire country  is very high.

During my tour, I also felt this extraordinary national quality education. We all know that Japanese people pay attention to etiquette, the traffic are on the order, the roads are clean and tidy, and the garbage is classified strictly. One thing that impressed me especially. The weather was very hot. We met a girl who suffered from heatstroke and fainted in the aisle on the tram. People in several compartments concentrated to help. Everyone took out the ice pack and wet the towel with ice water to cool the girl. Someone made a call to 119 and the emergency responder arrived within ten minutes of receiving the call. It is no exaggeration to say that the strangers present reacted quickly, and their orderly help made me feel very moved.

During the study, we experienced the natural scenery of the remote villages of Akita Nakaho City, experienced the charm of Tokyo's bustling city, and felt the solemnity and reflection of the nuclear explosion disaster in Hiroshima... Although our journey has ended, the experiences of this trip to Japan are still vivid, perhaps this is a process of discovering beauty. With these experiences and feelings, we can create beauty better in the future days.
