Jianping Ge is a professor, Ph.D. supervisor of the School of Economics and Management, China University of Geosciences (Beijing), member of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Public Administration, and Deputy Director of the MPA Center. He was selected in the Beijing Higher Education Young Elite Teacher Project and China University of Geosciences Talent Reserve Program “Realism” People. Ge graduated from the University of Tsukuba, Japan in March, 2011 and received his Ph.D. He has presided over more than 10 national and provincial-level projects, including two fund projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, One fund project of the Humanity and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education of China, two fund projects of the Beijing Social Science Foundation. Ge published more than 30 academic papers. Among them, 18 academic papers published as the first author and correspondent authors in important SSCI/SCI journals such as Energy Policy, Energy, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Resources Policy. Ge is a review expert of national Chinese science and technology project, peer review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, board member of Society of Management Science and Engineering of China, board member of the Regional Science Association of China, deputy director and Secretary General of the Environmental Economics and Policy Committee of Chinese Society of Rare Earths, and Deputy Director of Petroleum Economics Committee of Chinese Petroleum Society. Ge is also a member of the Resources Policy (IF=3.690, Division 2 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), an important journal in the field of resources and environmental policy and economics.
