Qin  Bingtao has got Ph.D. in Economics from National University of Tokyo,  Japan, and has been postdoctoral fellow at Fudan University. His  research includes many fields. He has published articles on the Journal  of Modern Society and Culture, World Economic Papers, Contemporary  Finance & Economics and other high-level journals. He also has  published English book of Sustainable Development in Rural China by  the internationally renowned publisher Springer.

He  has finished a number of important scientific research projects such as  the National Social Science Project, the Ministry of Education's  Overseas Study Project, and the Ministry of Education's Humanities and  Social Sciences Youth Project. He has served as an editorial board  member of the Academic Journal of New Visions in EDEC, an anonymous  reviewer for many journals such as China Population Resources and  Environmental Economics, and Computational Economics. He is also an  expert in the evaluation and guidance of science and technology for the  primary and secondary schools of the Shanghai Science and Technology  Commission. At the same time，he is also the experts of the Ministry of Education for university backbone teacher training program.

Qin Bingtao advocates the integrated concept of lively and academic rigorous. In  his research team, the graduate students can learn the modern economic  methods including mathematical modeling and econometric methods while  conducting scientific research. The graduate students in his team have  earned high-level awards such as national scholarships; awards of  Mathematical Modeling Contest in America, awards in the National  Graduate Mathematical Contest. The graduate students in his team have  published several articles onhigh-level  academic journals.
