l He is Deputy Secretary General of the National Tumen River Regional Cooperation and Development Expert Group, Deputy Director of the Science Communication Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Second Inspector of the Department of Management of Foreign Intelligence of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Northeast Asia Economic Research , Adjunct Professor of Tongji University and many other universities. He used to be the head of the fourth group of doctoral missions to Guizhou under the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the assistant to the director of Guizhou Science and Technology Department. He is Doctor of Economics, Doctor of Management, Research Fellow, and a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin.

l He mainly engages in science and technology, talent, popular science planning and policy research and management, regional economic development strategy research:

Ø The main drafter of the seventh part of the National Science Popularization Development Plan during the 12th Five-Year Plan Period , the National Science Popularization and Innovative Culture Construction Plan during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period and the National Science and Technology Innovation Plan during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period

Ø The main drafter of the science popularization content of the National Medium - and Long-Term Program for Science and Technology Development (2021-2035).

Ø The main planner and implementer of several major national science and technology weeks and demonstration activities.

Ø The main planner and organizer of national excellent popular science works promotion, national popular science explanation contest, national popular science micro video contest, national scientific experiment performance, science and technology train trip, science popularization and Tibet assistance, Science Night and other activities.

Ø The initiator and organizer of the science cafes , and Beijing TV guest host.

l He used to be the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Soft Science, and now he is the Deputy Director of the Editorial Board of Meteorology Knowledge, the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Northeast Asian Economic Research, and the Editorial Board of Popular Science Research. He undertook a number of national science and technology plan projects, hosted a number of strategy researches on urban and industrial development . He has published more than 90 papers such as 'Southern Jiangsu Model' and Path Dependence,  and 8 monographs (including co-authors), such as Selection and Cultivation of the Growth Point of the New Urban Economy, Western Value-added, Research on Tumen River Regional Economic Development -- Growth in Game Theory, Seeking Growth and Seeking Breakthrough.
