Students Cao Jijiao and Wu Yinka of Grade 2023 and yuan Heng of Grade 2024, who majored in international business, successfully completed their one-week study tour in Singapore and returned to Shanghai on November 11. Up to now, this is the largest overseas visiting group organized by the Professional Degree Education Center of the School of Management of Shanghai University of Science and Technology, with 30 students from 9 professional master's degree programs such as International Business (MIB), Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Accounting (MPAcc). Professor Wei Jingfu, the head of the discipline of international business, and Ma Yan, the senior admissions officer of the professional degree education center, served as the team leader.
With the theme of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Singapore visit aims to broaden students' international horizons and enhance their innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities. It mainly arranges the 4-day course teaching of the National University of Singapore and the visiting schedule of enterprises such as the Singapore-China Science and Technology Industry Innovation Center of Nanyang Technological University and the O2Work Eco-shared Enterprise Office Space.

Anna and YU Wei, two associate professors of the National University of Singapore, taught the two courses of Concept and Practice of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship. Summing up the harvest after class, yuan Heng, a master of MIB, said, Every class is a feast of knowledge. Students from different cultural backgrounds express their opinions and often collide with sparks of thought.. Here, I personally feel the charm of international education.
Cao Jijiao even realized a dream-she received offers from the National University of Singapore and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology at the same time when she took the postgraduate entrance examination last year. In order to lighten her family's burden, she finally chose to go to the University of Science and Technology, which is more cost-effective. A year later, she still sat in the classroom of the New National University. At Nanyang Technological University, yuan Heng, a freshman of MIB2024, met two middle school students who studied abroad. They were admitted to the computer major of the continuous academic project that involves postgraduate and doctoral study. After some exchanges, their confidence in their way of study and future planning was doubled.

When the visiting group visited the office space of o2Work Eco-shared Enterprise, the students were amazed at the unique concept of this space design-integrating the natural green plants of grassland vision into every corner of Office, providing customers with an office environment with zero PM2.5 and formaldehyde, so as to ensure the health of office workers. Mr. Li Ruiwu, president of the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the founder of O2Work, not only warmly received all the members of the delegation, but also presented each of them with his own book on the business philosophy and entrepreneurial process of O2Work, Chasing the Green Lion City and Taking Root.During the visit to the Singapore-China Science and Technology Industry Innovation Center of Nanyang Technological University, the students gained a more perceptual understanding of Singapore's offshore finance, the transformation of the global financial hub and the powerful functions of the financial management center, as well as the importance of China's foreign scientific and technological exchanges, through the detailed explanation and on-the-spot observation of Professor Luo Ruikang, the director of the center.

Interestingly, Mr. Li Ruiwu, the founder of O2Work, who has never met before, has a common friend with Professor Wei Jingfu. Ma Yan and Professor Luo Ruikang of Singapore-China Science and Technology Industry Innovation Center are from the same county in Anhui Province. Dramatic interpersonal fate also inspires us to sit at home and look into the distance, the world seems very far and very big, but as long as you rush to the rainbow and walk bravely into it, your world is also very small, and wonderful life stories will happen everywhere.During the short seven-day visit, teachers and students especially cherish the rare learning opportunities. Every day, Professor Wei Jingfu will put forward several questions about the first day's class content or the novel experience in Singapore and send them to the WeChat group for everyone to think and discuss. Teachers and students made full use of all the opportunities of classroom, enterprise visits and street visits to actively reflect on Singapore's unique experience in economic and urban management as a developed country, and explored the reference significance of China's reform and opening up, which greatly increased the motivation of patriotism and firm ideals to sprinkle youth sweat.
