On December 6, Institute for China Neighboring Economies (ICNE) invited Long Ruyin, chief expert of major projects of the National Social Science Foundation and second-level professor of Jiangnan University Business School, to give a lecture on academic frontiers, with the theme of Artificial Intelligence and Green Consumption Research. The lecture was held in the second conference room (lecture hall) of the School of Management, chaired by Dr. Qin Bingtao, a researcher of ICNE, and attended by relevant teachers and students of the center.
Academic Lectures
In the lecture, Professor Long Ruyin introduced the main research methods of green consumption in detail, analyzed the multiple applications and profound impact of artificial intelligence in green consumption based on rich examples and cutting-edge achievements, and pointed out the future direction of AI + green consumption research. He mentioned that artificial intelligence has become an important force to promote the development of the green consumer market by virtue of its powerful data mining and analysis capabilities, accurately analyzing consumer behavior patterns, predicting green consumption trends, and optimizing green marketing strategies, and has achieved remarkable results in enhancing consumers' green awareness, changing consumption habits, and promoting the sustainable development of green supply chains. At the same time, he emphasized that universities should play an active role in this interdisciplinary research field, cultivate interdisciplinary talents, and contribute to the transformation of China's green economy.

The interactive session was enthusiastic, and the participating teachers and students actively asked questions about the ethics, technical bottlenecks and future research directions of artificial intelligence in green consumption, and Professor Long patiently answered them, opening up new ideas for everyone.
