From June 6 to 7, in order to promote collaborative education between schools and enterprises, strengthen alumni liaison, and deepen inter-school exchanges, Associate Professor Qin Bingtao, head of the International Economics and Trade major of the Business School of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology(USST), director of the International Business Master Project, and researcher of the Institute for China Neighboring Economies (ICNE), led the faculty and students of ICNE and Professional Degree Education Center of Business School to Chengdu for investigation and exchange activities. This itinerary covered universities, enterprises and alumni groups, and had gained rich cooperation results and development ideas.
On June 7, the research team visited the Business School of Chengdu University of Technology(CDUT), and received warmly receptions from Professor Gu Qiuqin, director of the Department of Economics of CDUT, and others. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on issues such as talent training and discipline construction, and focused on a comprehensive and fruitful discussion on the talent training system that integrates undergraduate and graduate education.
At the symposium, both sides first shared the school's characteristics and practical achievements in the fields of undergraduate and graduate education. Associate Professor Qin Bingtao introduced the cutting-edge nature of the International Economics and Trade major of the Business School of USST in the curriculum, such as the introduction of emerging course modules such as cross-border e-commerce and international finance, as well as innovative measures for practical teaching of graduate students in international business, including cooperating with internationally renowned enterprises to carry out project-based learning and establishing overseas practice bases. Professor Gu Qiuqin elaborated in detail on the talent training model of CDUT's Business School ased on regional economic development needs, laying a solid foundation of mathematics and science in undergraduate majors, strengthening economic theory teaching, highlighting application orientation in postgraduate education, and carrying out research on research on local industrial upgrading and industry-university-research cooperation.

During the exchange, the two sides held in-depth discussions on the integration of undergraduate and graduate education, and planned to cooperate in course connection and mutual recognition of credits, such as jointly developing cross-school elective courses, jointly holding academic lectures, student competitions and other activities, in order to broaden students' academic horizons and improve their professional abilities.
After the meeting, Associate Professor Qin Bingtao presented souvenirs from the School of Management of Shanghai University of Technology to the School of Business of Chengdu University of Technology. He said: The souvenirs represent the Business School of University of Shanghai Science and Technology. I hope to witness the friendly exchanges between the two alumni and look forward to more cooperation in the future. Professor Gu Qiuqin received the souvenirs on behalf of the college, thanking the other party for their feelings, and expressed his hope to start with this to promote cooperation between the two schools in academic resource sharing and talent training.
